LaunchBird — Websites Division W.

Your hardest-workingsalesperson.

Custom, conversion-engineered websites for Calgary businesses. Fixed price. Fixed timeline. Live in as little as fourteen days — with fifteen complete builds below, so you can judge the craft before you spend a dollar.

Why this division exists

Most small-business websites are brochures. Yours should be a closer.

Template mills sell you a lookalike — the same layout your competitor bought last Tuesday, with your logo swapped in. Big agencies sell you a six-month process and a bill that needs its own meeting. Both leave the only question that matters unanswered: does the site actually sell?

LaunchBird Websites builds one thing: hand-coded websites engineered around the moment a visitor decides to trust you. Same firm that engineers AI revenue systems for mid-market companies — pointed at your storefront, your clinic, your crew.

Fixed Price

Published packages. The number on this page is the number on the invoice.

On Time — In Writing

Your launch date is in the contract, and it costs us, not you, when we miss it.

You Own Everything

Code, domain, content, analytics. No hostage hosting. Leave whenever you like.

Built in Calgary

Designed and coded here — for chinook-country businesses, by people who live here.

The Seven-Element System

Seven elements decide whether a visitor buys.
We engineer all seven.

Every converting website — every one — is the same seven decisions made well. This is the system behind every build in the showroom. Scroll through it; watch a website assemble itself.

01

The Header

The first 0.1 seconds decide everything. Logo, navigation, one urgent call to action — the judgment happens before a single word is read.

Sticky, weightless, one CTA — never three.
02

The Hero

One promise, eight words, a reason to stay. We write it in your customers' language and put the button where their thumb already is.

Headline tested against real customer phrasing.
03

The Story

Pain, promise, proof — in that order. Customers buy a better version of their day; the story walks them there with you as the bridge.

Outcome copy, not feature copy.
04

The Proof

Anyone can claim it; few can prove it. Reviews, numbers, credentials — placed exactly where doubt shows up, not in a graveyard page.

Proof beside every claim it supports.
05

The Showcase

A portfolio is a sample tray, not a brag. Each tile answers the unspoken question: have you done this for someone like me?

Curated, outcome-labelled, never a dump.
06

The Offer

A single price feels like take-it-or-leave-it. Three feels like a decision. We build pricing the way Apple builds product lines — anchored and obvious.

Anchored tiers with one obvious choice.
07

The Close

One promise, one button, the fewest form fields we can get away with. Risk reversal in plain sight. The close either earns the lead or loses it.

Friction stripped to the load-bearing walls.
The Showroom

Fifteen industries. Fifteen complete builds.

Calgary builders put up show homes before anyone signs a contract. These are ours — fifteen complete websites for fifteen fictional local businesses, one per industry we serve, so you can judge the craft directly instead of squinting at borrowed logos. Click through. Poke the menus. Open them on your phone.

The founding offer

Every show home is for sale. Once.

The first business in each industry to claim its show home gets the entire build re-engineered around their brand — name, colours, copy, photography direction, the works — at a founding discount substantial enough that we don't print it. In exchange: a public case study and an honest review. When an industry is claimed, its card flips to the real site and the discount goes with it.

15 of 15 industries still open — for now.

One email with the price sheet, from a human. No sequences, no spam.
Fixed-price packages

Published prices. On purpose.

No proposal dance, no discovery fee, no quote that takes three weeks. Pick a lane — or tell us what you're trying to do and we'll recommend one in your build plan.

The Launch Guarantee

Three commitments, in the contract, in plain English. Your launch date is written down — if we miss it, your invoice drops 10% for every week we're late. Nothing ships that you haven't approved at each stage — design before build, build before launch. And for 30 days after launch, we fix, tune, and adjust at no cost until the site performs the way we promised — Lighthouse 95+, fast on a phone in a parkade.

Backed by the same firm that signs a 90-day results commitment on six-figure AI engagements. We're comfortable being held to things.

Day fifteen and beyond

Launch is day one. Then comes traffic.

A conversion-engineered website is the engine — search and ads are the fuel lines. Once your site is live, we can run the traffic side too: measured monthly, reported in plain English, cancel anytime. Offered to sites we've built first, because we won't send paid traffic to a page we don't trust to close it.

Local SEO

"Furnace repair near me" doesn't rank by accident. Google Business Profile, a review engine, neighbourhood pages, citations — the slow compounding that ends with your name first.

Google Ads

Leads this month while the SEO compounds. Tight Calgary-only campaigns, landing pages that match the ad word-for-word, and a cost-per-lead number reported to you honestly.

The retainer model

Monthly, transparent, month-to-month. No separate sales process — tick the boxes when you request your build plan and it's scoped in the same document.

Your other options

Four ways to get a website. Compared honestly.

We're option four. Here's what the other three actually buy you — no straw men, no scare tactics.

Option 01A template builder

$30–60/month forever. Fast and cheap, and it shows: you'll recognize your layout on three other businesses by spring, it'll load slowly, and nobody is accountable for whether it sells. Fine for a hobby. Expensive for a business — just invisibly.

Option 02The cheapest freelancer

$500–1,500, sometimes brilliant, usually a coin flip. No contract, no timeline guarantee, and the number one story we hear: "they disappeared halfway." When it works, congratulations. When it doesn't, you've paid twice.

Option 03A big agency

$25,000+ and a six-month process with a project manager between you and everyone doing the work. Genuinely great for enterprises. For a fifteen-person business, you're paying for their office, not your outcome.

Option 04 — this studioLaunchBird Websites

$2,500–$15,000, fixed, in writing. Hand-coded by the people you talk to, on a contract with teeth, shipped in weeks. You saw fifteen examples of exactly what you'd get before we ever spoke. That's the pitch — the showroom already made it.

Common questions

Before you ask — answered.

Are the showroom sites real client work?+
No — and that's deliberate. Think of them the way Calgary home builders think of show homes: nobody expects a family to be living in one, and nobody doubts the craftsmanship because of it. Rather than pad a portfolio with borrowed logos, we built fifteen real, working, hand-coded websites you can inspect down to the source. Each one is also for sale — if a show home fits your industry, we'll re-engineer it around your brand on founding-client terms, and your live site takes its place in the grid with real results attached.
Why fixed pricing instead of a quote?+
Because quotes change and estimates drift. Fixed pricing forces us to scope tightly and over-deliver inside it — and you know the bill before we start. If your project genuinely grows beyond the package, we put the change in writing with a price before any work happens.
Do you use WordPress, Wix, or Webflow?+
We hand-code every site for speed and longevity — it's why the showroom builds load the way they do. On Lift-off and up we layer in a CMS so you can edit content yourself without touching code. What we don't do is templates. That's not what you're paying for.
Who writes the words?+
On Launch and Lift-off, we shape and edit what you give us — you know your business; we make it land. On Orbit and Flagship, copywriting is included: we interview you, steal your customers' own phrasing, and write the whole thing.
What do you need from me?+
About three hours total across the build: one working session up front, feedback at the two approval gates, and your content (or an interview, if we're writing it). We chase everything else.
What about hosting, domain, and email?+
Year one of hosting and SSL is included in every package; after that it's cost-price, or we hand it to any host you choose — you own everything. Domain transfer or registration is free. Business email setup (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) is included on Lift-off and up.
I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?+
Usually the honest answer is that a rebuild costs the same as a rescue and ends better — but not always. Send the URL with your build plan request and we'll tell you straight which it is, including when the answer is "keep what you have and spend the money on ads instead."
How does payment work?+
Half to book your build slot, half at launch — after your final approval, not before. Flagship projects break into milestones. No deposits swallowed by "discovery."
Can you also run my ads / SEO / AI systems?+
Yes. Local SEO and Google Ads are offered as monthly growth retainers — prioritised for sites we've built, since the site is the foundation rankings and ads compound on. Tick the interest boxes when you request your build plan and we'll scope it in the same document. The larger AI and automation systems are the firm's other arm: LaunchBird AI.
