Our whole team holds Fear-Free certification. Here’s what that actually looks like, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.
The waiting room isn’t one.
Dogs check in on one side of the clinic; cats go straight to a quiet, dimly lit room with a raised shelf for the carrier. Exam rooms are species-separated, so your cat never smells a dog through the door — and pheromone diffusers run in every room, every day.
We don’t rush the sniff.
The first few minutes of every appointment belong to your pet, not to us. Your vet sits low, offers a treat, and lets them investigate the room, the scale, and the humans in it. Nothing clinical happens until they’ve decided we’re boring.
Exams at their level.
On the floor, on your lap, or on a warmed, towel-covered table — wherever your pet settles is where the exam happens. We use the least restraint that keeps everyone safe, and if fear escalates we stop and rework the plan rather than push through it.
You leave with a plan, not a mystery.
Before you’re back at the front desk you’ll know what we found, what it means, and what it costs — in writing. Bloodwork gets explained in plain English, with the actual numbers on paper so you can see the trend for yourself next year.
