Every treatment at Vela begins with a consultation — an unrushed half hour with a registered nurse, a written plan, and an honest answer. If you don't need a treatment, we'll tell you.
Most clinics sell treatments. We start by asking whether you need one — slow assessment, conservative dosing, honest timelines, because skin answers to patience more reliably than to enthusiasm.

The visit
The same sequence for every client, whether you're here for a facial or considering laser. The order is the point: nothing is treated before it's understood.
Thirty minutes with a registered nurse. Skin history, medications, goals — and an honest read of what's actually driving what you see. $60, credited in full toward any treatment.

A written plan with every cost listed, sent to you the same day. Take it home. Sit with it. There's no booking pressure and no expiry date on our advice.

Appointments booked with margin, so nothing is compressed to fit a slot. Numbing, aftercare product, and instructions are included in the price you already saw.

A two-week review is part of every treatment, not an add-on. If something needs adjusting, we adjust it. If it's healing exactly as expected, we tell you that too.
Most reviews take ten minutes. Good news usually does.
Results, honestly

The menu price is the whole price. Numbing, aftercare, and your two-week review are included — nothing is added at the desk.
We suggest a series only where the evidence supports one — and never at checkout, and never with a countdown attached.
Health Canada–licensed devices and prescription-strength products, used under medical direction. Nothing else comes through the door.

On consultations: the $60 consult fee exists so our advice never has to earn its keep by selling you something. It's credited in full toward any treatment you book — and if our recommendation is "nothing yet," it's the only money that changes hands.
