What is LaunchBird?

LaunchBird Ltd. is a Calgary-based AI consulting firm. We find the repeat work in owner-led service firms, build AI systems that take it on inside the firm's own accounts, run them every month and report the hours they return.

What is the Flightdeck engine?

The engine we set up inside your own accounts. Flightdeck connects to the tools you already run, learns how your firm works from your pricing, past quotes and SOPs, and runs the builds that take repeat work off your team. Every hour it returns is measured in your Hours Ledger.

What's free, exactly?

Week one: the time study, the signed baseline and your first build, live in your own accounts. You only pay if you decide to keep going.

What does it cost?

Week one is free, including your first build. After that it's a monthly fee set from your time study, and a partner walks you through it before you commit to anything.

Where does our data go?

Into your own accounts. Flightdeck is set up in your tenant, under your admin, wherever possible, and the one-page usage policy we write in month one sets what goes in. Nothing is used to train AI models.

Do we own it?

Yes: your accounts, your data, every Flightdeck build and its documentation.

What does Flightdeck run on?

Claude, connected to the systems you already run: Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, your job, property or accounting software, and your shared drive. There is no new platform to buy.

How much of our time does it take?

One hour a week from the owner or GM. During the baseline week, time from the two or three people who do the work being measured. Then two 60-minute training sessions in month one.

Do you work outside Calgary?

Yes. LaunchBird is based in Calgary and works remotely with firms coast to coast, on your time zone, with local pages for Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria.

Can you work with our IT provider?

Yes. They keep running your systems, and Flightdeck works inside the accounts they already manage.
