What we store, and why.
This page covers launchbird.ca: the Time Audit, the contact form and site analytics. LaunchBird Ltd. is the organization responsible. Questions go to contact@launchbird.ca.
The Time Audit
The audit runs in your browser. The numbers you enter are worked out on your own device and are not sent to us. They are kept in the page address (after the #) so you can share or bookmark your result; that part of an address is not sent to any server.
If you choose "Email me this page", we receive your name, company, email, whether your IT provider sent you (and which one, if you say), every number you entered, the results, the partner link you arrived from (if any) and your result link. We use it to email you the page, to prepare for a call if you book one, and to credit a referring partner. Nothing else.
The contact form
We receive your name, company, email, phone number (if you give it) and your message. We use it to answer you.
The chat
The chat on this site is an AI assistant. What you type, and any contact details you share in it, are sent to Anthropic (the provider of the AI model) to write the replies, and copied to LaunchBird partners on Slack so a person can follow up or join the conversation. The conversation is kept in your browser only for this visit.
Booking a call
"Start your free week" opens our booking page on Calendly. What you enter there is handled by Calendly under its privacy notice, and we receive it to prepare for the call.
Where it is kept
Form submissions are stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, and copied to our email at contact@launchbird.ca. We do not sell it. [TODO: Jake] Confirm what, if anything, a referring partner is told. We keep it [TODO: Jake] retention period. Ask us to delete it at any time by emailing contact@launchbird.ca.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used, including whether the audit was started, completed or emailed. It is configured without advertising features or Google signals, and page addresses are sent without the # part. From the audit it receives only a rough band of total hours (for example "10-19"), never your name, email or exact numbers.
